About Image Cropping and How to Use It

An Image Cropper is a tool that allows you to select and extract specific portions of an image. This is useful for removing unwanted areas, focusing on the subject, and creating images that are perfectly sized for different purposes (e.g., social media posts, website banners, profile pictures).

How to Use the Image Cropper

  1. Select an Image:
    • Choose Image: Click the "Browse Image" button to select an image from your computer.
  2. Adjust the Crop Area:
    • Select Crop Area: Use the cropping tool (which appears as a square or rectangle overlay on your image) to select the portion of the image you want to keep.
      • Drag the corners or edges of the cropping tool to resize it.
      • Drag the entire cropping tool to reposition it on the image.
    • Aspect Ratios: Click on predefined aspect ratios (16:9, 4:3, 1:1, 2:3) to quickly set the cropping area to the desired proportions.
    • Reset: Click the "Reset" button to remove the cropping tool and start fresh.
  3. Adjust and Refine:
    • Zoom on Scroll: Scroll the mouse wheel up or down while hovering over the image to zoom in or out for precise selection.
    • Rotate: Click the "Rotate Clockwise" and "Rotate Anti-Clockwise" buttons to rotate the image clockwise or anti-clockwise by 45 degrees.
    • Flip: Use the "Flip Horizontal" and "Flip Vertical" buttons to mirror the image accordingly.
  4. Preview and Download:
    • Preview: Click the "Preview" button to see what the cropped image will look like.
    • Download: Download the cropped image to your device.
